Osmanthus Gardens

This shoot involved four photographers working at nine different events over five days. Delegations from Guanghi and Guilin, Hastings’ sister city in China, held meetings with Hastings mayor Lawrence Yule, councillors and council officials, attended a banquet, planted trees in the Osmanthus Gardens and put on an amazing show at the Hawke’s Bay Opera House. The Osmanthus Gardens were lit up with Chinese lanterns in their honour.

Our projects for Hastings District Council have been on the go since 2010, including Citizenship Ceremonies, award presentations, sporting events, murals, Edible Arts, Earth Hour, Wine and Food festivals, Young Achievers, Playground openings, and so much more.
